“Lock up your libraries if you like; but there is no gate, no lock, no bolt that you can set upon the freedom of my mind.”
― Virginia Woolf
Ever since I can remember, I’ve been genuinely interested in words and spelling, and I’ve been an avid reader from an early age. Therefore, it came as no surprise to anyone when I chose to study English Philology at university. After graduating, I then continued my studies as a postgraduate student in Applied Linguistics, completing my PhD in 2019. I have worked as a teacher of English, French, and Spanish, and learning languages is kind of a hobby for me — now working hard on my German!
My academic background, past working experience, and personal interests come together here to fulfil a long-standing dream of working on a technical — though fervent! — approach to language.
I’m always keen to connect with others who share my passion for linguistics, literature, and editing, and I’m available for a chat on these topics and beyond.
Let’s get in touch!
